ABOUT THE ARTIST
Nancy Ivers is a New York based artist best known for her abstract oil paintings. Her art finds its genesis in a deep commitment to the meaning of humanity. Religion, nature, mysticism, and the sacredness of the human encounter all serve as important sources of inspiration. Her work has appeared in multiple solo and group exhibitions, including the Elaine Benson Gallery, Fundt Gallery, Whitehall Gallery, Mark Murray Fine Art, Pen + Brush Gallery, Tribeca Art Gallery, Penthouse Gallery, and the Macy Gallery at Columbia University.
