Dominique Rietzler is a French visual artist who lives and works in Basel, Switzerland. His self-developed technique utilizes color, surface, and texture to create multi-layered tableaux.
The artist’s signature application and removal of paint from the surface — whether that is canvas, paper, or aluminum — adds an architectural dimension to his paintings. Rietzler’s work has been widely exhibited and his paintings have been acquired by the prestigious Baloise Art Collection in Switzerland.
